About

Meet Briana

I’m Briana, a massage therapist since 2007. I began my career in luxury day spas before moving to an athletic club in a high-elevation mountain town, where I worked under the guidance of a renowned physical therapist.

It was there that I developed a deeper understanding of body mechanics: how postural imbalances and movement patterns can contribute to dysfunction, pain, and injury, especially in athletes. Helping clients restore movement and improve range of motion remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Over time, I’ve become increasingly fascinated by fascia, the connective tissue network that surrounds, permeates, and supports nearly every structure in the body. Because the body is so interconnected, working with restriction in one area can sometimes create sensation or change in a totally different area of the body.

I also believe meaningful change happens when the nervous system feels safe. Even when my work is deep, the pace is often slow and intentional. Rather than forcing through tissue that is guarding or protecting, I listen and wait for the body to respond.

My role is to create the conditions for change, not force it. We work at your pace, giving your body the time and space to let go when it’s ready.

Sessions are available in English and Spanish, and the practice is currently by referral.

What is Briana's approach to massage?

Holistic and fascia-focused: rather than following a fixed routine, she reads what the body needs in the moment and blends techniques accordingly. See how that plays out for specific goals on the fascia-focused , athlete recovery , and deep tissue & trigger point pages.
