Fascia-Focused Massage

Fascia-focused massage works the connective tissue that wraps every muscle, rather than treating muscles as isolated knots. Briana leads with fascia unwinding, releasing tension patterns that surface-level muscle work tends to miss, and treats the body as one connected system instead of a set of separate aches.

What is fascia-focused massage?

Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and connects muscles, bones, and organs throughout the body. When fascia tightens or adheres, it can restrict movement and refer tension to places far from the original source. Fascia-focused massage uses slow, sustained pressure and movement to release those restrictions, rather than the faster, muscle-by-muscle strokes of a typical relaxation massage.

What is fascia unwinding?

Fascia unwinding is one of the techniques Briana weaves into a session: slow, responsive movement that follows the body's own patterns of holding and release, rather than forcing a fixed sequence. It is often paired with PNF stretching, active release technique, and trigger point therapy within the same appointment, depending on what the body needs that day.

Who is fascia-focused massage for?

People dealing with chronic tightness that doesn't resolve with typical massage, restricted mobility, or a sense that pain in one area is connected to tension somewhere else in the body. It also suits anyone who prefers a holistic, whole-body approach over a strictly muscle-by-muscle routine.

Fascia-focused work is part of Briana's single Therapeutic Massage session (90 minutes, $140) — it isn't a separate booking. She blends it with other techniques in the moment, based on what your body needs.
